The Evolution of "I will " to "I did "

Have you ever done something that you weren’t sure you could EVER do?

It’s been quite an adventure creating my book. At first, I thought that I would just write it and everything else would sort of magically happen. 🤣

Instead, I ended up taking courses on graphic design and typography so that I could create each part of this offering myself. Whew!! If you are a new author considering this path, for your sanity, I suggest that you get a professional to assist you. I can be a bit stubborn and OCD, so I figured that would make me perfect for editing my own work. 😅

I discovered this is true, but that it also means I would not do much sleeping. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Even though I drove myself halfway out of my mind editing every detail of the look and feel of it (the velvety cover, paper color and texture, fonts, spacing, allll the things), it’s also really special to know that I did it all from my heart, and left no detail uncared for. I truly gave this my all and pushed myself beyond what I thought I was capable of.

When you hold a copy in your hands, you are holding over two years of hard work, sleepless nights, and incredibly deep love. This is more than just a book to me. This is me putting my heart out into the world, hoping that somewhere out there, it touches yours and makes your life better.
